2. Your base can be a bowl which needs a little depth. In other words, a bowl with a diameter of between 10-12 inches is required. In addition, pebbles or rocks are needed and this is where you can be a little creative. Many opt for a mixture of natural colored rocks and those with other color shades. This is up to you. 3. Assemble the sticks together in any shape you desire. The sticks can be tied together or held together with glue. If you are using glue then make sure it is water resistant.

You can hold down the pump by surrounding it with the rocks but you want to be sure not to obstruct the passage of the tube. The tube should protrude upwards at least ten inches from the base. If it's too long then rearrange it so it matches the height of the longest stick.

5. The tube needs to be adapted to the longest length of bamboo and again, be careful that the tube is not longer than this stick. Once you have this in place, it's time to add water to the bowl. Fill it to between a third and a half the depth of the bowl. Turn on the water pump and you're good to go.
